Adopting an animal ensures that you can directly help the animal of your choice. The Adoption fee goes directly to the care and attention of the animal you are sponsoring. It may contribute to food and housing ( temporary or permanent) or to maintain the habitat of the chosen animal. You can be secure in the knowledge that ALL money raised in this way goes directly to the animals.

Something Wild is a rehabilitation sanctuary taking care of orphaned and injured wildlife and we do not receive

any Government Funding to continue this valuable work.

Making a contribution to a worthwhile cause is a very personal decision, but is a constructive

and direct way of to make a real difference to helping our amazing orphans.

As a non-government organisation, completely funded through our visitors,

we are dedicated to the Conservation and Rehabilitation of our native wildlife and to Educating the public about their plight.

he much needed funds raised from these adoptions go to the day to day care and rehabilitation of a native orphan baby.

These babies need round the clock attention, especially when they are tiny.

Three hourly feeds are the norm. We fed these babies on a specialised milk formula to suit each baby and this is ongoing for quite a few months.

When they get older we wean them onto more specialised foods and native grasses etc to suit each animal.

This is amazingly satisfying work but it is costly and time consuming so your adoption fee is greatly appreciated.

At the time of release, all babies are soft release into the protected grounds of our sanctuary so that they can

come and go as they please, ensuring the highest success in their future life in the wild.
