Nightstalk Amazing Wildlife Experiences’

This Unique Nocturnal Experience gives you an Intimate insight behind the scenes, into the day to day running of Tasmania's largest wildlife rehabilitation Sanctuary.

 

 

Be a Wildlife nanny for a night...

You will be involved in the Behind the Scenes, ‘one on one’ care of the animals. You may even get to handle some of our unique wildlife family, including Eastern quolls, Koalas, Wombats, Possums, Kangaroo’s and wallabies and so much more…

 

 

Be a Wildlife Film Maker for a night …

You will be part of our research team for the night. You will participate in setting up our ‘Beast’ stealth night vision cameras in and around the sanctuary. You will receive your own personal photo album of these photos via email on your return home.

 

 

Be a Nightstalker for a night…

You will also spot for wild platypus on dusk in the magnificent Tyenna River. You will take a walk through various parts of the sanctuary spotting for wild animals. These animals are all in their natural habitat and completely wild. Rare Eastern barred Bandicoots, Wallabies, Ringtail possums and other animals are regular visitors during our tours

 

You will receive….

A participation certificate on completion of your ‘Nightstalk’ experience joins you as an honorary member of the Something Wild Nightstalk Carers Club. You will also receive personal animal photos from the ‘Beast’ Nightstalk stealth cameras you helped to place during your Nightstalk Experience, via email.

Bookings Essential

$150 per adult, $90 children over 8 years of age

Not suitable for children under 8 yrs of age. Groups minimum—two Maximum—six, Bring Warm clothes, sturdy covered walking shoes Prices subject to change without notice

Please note: Nightstalk Wildlife Experience not available on Saturday night during winter months.

 

Meet the Keeper Experience with Baby Animal Feeding

Get up close and personal with our orphaned babies at their feeding times.  At 11am, 1pm and 3pm you can these

babies being bottle-fed  to ensure their development into healthy adults.  The mothers of the orphaned babies

have come to an untimely end and our carers take over the maternal role for them.

 These sessions allow the carer to talk to you about the intricate and dedicated care these orphans require to bring them up into the world.
